Conditions for booking

Booking fee when booking a tattoo appointment

To secure your booking and get tattooed with us, we apply a booking fee. This fee is deducted from your total cost of the tattoo provided that you turn up at your booked time and that our other conditions are followed. The booking fee is non-refundable.

Payment for flash tattoos and group and event tattoos

For flash tattoos, we ask you to choose a flash from our range, a picture of where you want it to go on your body, and an estimated and desired size. You will then receive a price quote from us. However, it is good to know that the price may change if changes are made to the design during the tattoo day.

For the Group and Event Tattoo service, we ask you to send us an enquiry with the date, event, desired designs, number of people and details of the group or event. We will then discuss the possibility and how we can plan and realise it.

Booking and cancellation policy for tattoo sessions

All tattoo session bookings must be made in advance. Our studio has limited drop in facilities.

Should you (or a prospective artist with us) become ill before your booked time, we understand this, and will book a new time.

We only accept rebookings by phone or text message.

Rebooking for other cancellations must be made at least 7 days before your booked appointment. You can rebook your tattoo appointment up to 3 times with the same booking fee. After that, you will need to make a new payment if you want to book a tattoo appointment.

If you cancel or reschedule within 7 days of your scheduled appointment, you will be fully liable to pay for your booked appointment and planned project.

Should you not show up at the booked time, you will be fully liable for payment for the booked time and planned project.

No-show and cancellation of consultation

In order to allow us to offer other clients available consultation slots, we ask you to cancel or reschedule your consultation at least 24 hours in advance. If you do not arrive at your booked appointment without cancelling in time, a fee of 500 SEK will be charged. This fee must be paid within 7 days of the missed appointment.

Amendments

Moment Tattoo reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. We encourage you to review this page regularly to stay informed of any changes.

For us to tattoo you, you need to understand the following

As a customer, you are responsible for informing us in the studio/your tattooist of the following or similar information so that we can carry out our work safely and well:

If you have the following diseases/conditions/circumstances:

diabetes, epilepsy, hepatitis, haemophilia, HIV/AIDS, heart problems, are pregnant or breastfeeding, are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, have any other illness that may be significant in relation to tattooing, have an illness that falls under the Infectious Diseases Act, or are taking medication that thins the blood.

If you have medical or skin conditions such as, but not limited to: Acne, scars (keloid), eczema, psoriasis.

Any freckles, moles or sunburn you may have in the area to be tattooed if they may interfere or prevent the execution of the tattoo.

It is the customer's own responsibility to be aware of the following:

We at the studio cannot take responsibility for determining whether you have had an allergic reaction to the pigments in the colour or the processes used around the time of tattooing. The customer accepts that the risk of such a reaction is possible and takes full responsibility for it.

The customer must be aware that infection is a risk after getting tattooed. The customer will always be given aftercare instructions but it is their responsibility to follow them.

The customer must understand that a cover up (tattoo over existing tattoo) may not fully cover the old tattoo, as there is always a risk of the old tattoo showing through the new one. A cover up may need to be tattooed several times (at the customer's own expense) to cover the old tattoo, but full coverage is not guaranteed.

The customer must understand that different skin tones result in different ink and colour results.

You as a customer must understand that a tattoo is a permanent change in one's appearance and that after getting tattooed you cannot undo the design or remove a permanent tattoo without paying for it yourself.

We at the studio do not take responsibility for any physical, mental or medical conditions that may affect the customer's decision to get a tattoo.

We are not medically trained staff and any suggestions and advice given to customers should not be substituted for advice from medical professionals, such as doctors.
